Thank you, students, parents, friends, and community, administrators for attending the 10th Annual Kodiak Island Scholarship Fair.

Thank you sponsors for sharing your valuable time to make the 10th Annual Kodiak Island Scholarship Fair possible. By representing your organization, you have helped generate awareness in our community of the opportunities available to Kodiak Island students, most of whom require financial assistance to achieve their education and training goals.
It will be my honor to continue this work following the fair by assisting students with the scholarship application process and continuing to provide financial literacy workshops.
I hope to see you at the 11th Annual Kodiak Island Scholarship Fair in 2025.
With gratitude,
Nancy Castro
What is KISF?
Kodiak Island Scholarship Fair (KISF) is a coordinated, community based effort of local and state organizations created to educate students and families about the numerous scholarships and financial aid opportunities available to Kodiak Students.
KISF is held annually every fall, and is for ALL students (high-schoolers, home-schoolers, current undergraduate and graduate students and adult learners interested in enrolling in college. KISF invites all scholarship organization both locally and statewide to maximize the opportunities to our community.
What is our purpose?
Our goal is to provide you with information about local and state scholarships to help you reach your scholarship potential. By gathering many state and local scholarship organizations, the event will prepare you for the spring season, when most of these scholarships become public to the community.
What should you expect?
Expect organizations to inform you about their scholarship requirements and deadlines. Often, committee members who participate in the even are on the scholarship selection committee. This is your time to ask how to earn that scholarship!
